After School Art Club with Carole Calling all young artists! After-school art is the perfect place for students to explore their creativity, try new techniques, and have fun making something all their own. In this hands-on class, students will discover the exciting world of art. Each week, we will feature a different artist. Students will learn about that artist’s unique style, ideas, and techniques. Then, they will use that inspiration to create an original piece of art. Students will experiment with a variety of materials and creative processes. They may paint, draw, cut, glue, sculpt, or build. Every project gives students a new way to express themselves. There is no need to make every piece look the same. We encourage students to make their own creative choices and let their personalities shine. After-school art offers more than a creative outlet.
